H. UPMANN

The history of this brand started in 1840. Herman Upmann was a banker and a cigar lover, with his skills for banking and his passion for cigars he decided to propose an opening for a branch of his family bank in Havana (Cuba). After the years have passed his business and bank kept growing, in 1844 he invested in a factory for his cigar business. H. Upmann’s company kept a successful professional life since then the company was engaged in both a bank and a cigar business. Later in 1922, his companies crashed that year and the factory was sold to a British firm however, the new owner redeemed the brand and took over the cigar factory till 1935. H. Upmann Sir Winston Cab is characterized by smooth, thin, soft and medium smoke. These are great for beginners; the aroma of tobacco is strong and balanced due to the components of the best varieties.
